Chinese Officials Visit Esex

Wickford Partybus Company Helps Cement International Trade

Wickford based Partybus company Simon’s Bus have once again played a part in helping Basildon Council and other local businesses in their efforts to increase trade between Essex and Changzhou (Jiangsu Province) in China.

 Members of the delegation  were in Essex on a flying visit 24th and 25th October.

 Simon’s Bus General Manager Helen Holder said, “It is a great honour for us to be involved in developing these Trade relations. This is the 2nd time we have transported visiting Chinese Dignitaries for Basildon Council. We have also provided transport on behalf of Essex County Council for their Chinese visitors from Jiangsu Province.”

Norwegian Dancers travel by Simon’s Bus

Strictly Not Just Dancing

The Norwegian Adult and Junior, Ballroom and Latin American, National Dance Champions  were in Essex recently. With several days of competition they had a gruelling schedule but hoped to fit in some time for sightseeing and shopping in the area before flying back to Norway.

 Transport was provided over 5 days by Simon’s Bus.

 From their base in Brentwood the dancers travelled to compete in Watford and Lakeside at Frimley Green and the Royal Albert Hall as well as 2 days competing at the Brentwood Centre.

 Simon’s Bus General Manager, Helen Holder, said we have provided transport for the last 2 years for Norwegian Dancers from the Hildemors Dance Centre in Bergen, Norway but this is the first time we have had the Norwegian National Champions on board.
